Unlike some other home automation companies Norfolk Smart Homes offers the complete package. From first fixing in a new build, to selecting the technology that best suits you and your unique lifestyle.

Norfolk Smart Homes is an expanding family business that started in 2008. We have evolved from a traditional electrical company and diversified into something much more specialist and exciting for its users. The team are knowledgeable in all aspects of the operation.

Christie, the company director saw potential in something that is already hugely popular in the USA - home automation - and decided to look into this further. With perpetual enthusiasm, Christie designed a showroom where his vision is brought to life. The showroom is a small taster of the unending possibilities that the smart home concept offers, from automated lighting, blind closure and tailored audio visual set-up, all controlled from a single device. This means that your smartphone or tablet is the universal control to your home, even when you are on the go.

The options for smart home living are almost limitless and beyond imagination, so by creating a show home, Norfolk Smart Homes can show you just how intelligent home automation incorporates and complements your lifestyle. We would welcome you any time to take a look and listen for yourselves.

ELECSA operates competent person schemes on behalf of government to ensure that the contractors you employ are technically competent to carry the work you want.  They assess contractors across the building services sector including electrical (Part P), heating & hot water, solid fuel and oil. They also assess contractors under the Green Deal and MCS schemes for homeowners looking to install energy efficient measures or renewable energy technologies.

ELECSAs mission is to maintain and promote the best industry practice that underlines the technical integrity of the work that their approved contractors carry out on behalf of customers every day.  More than 75% of these contractors are small, independent contractors who form part of the backbone of the UK economy, so it is vital that they gain the confidence and trust of the UK’s 60 million householders who depend upon their quality workmanship.

ELECSA provides the safety assurance and peace of mind that householders need when having work carried out in their home.  They inspect, assess and certificate contractors to do electrical and other building services work in private properties.

Contractors registered on an ELECSA scheme are assessed annually to ensure that they are working to latest industry standards.

What our clients say...

"The advice given and potential concepts were far beyond expectation. We opted for both smart sound and lighting for our home, and feel sure that this will develop on to other concepts in the future. The convenience and ability to watch and listen to contrasting TV and music in separate rooms of the house has been marvellous. We are also most impressed that the button at the front door turns off all the lights so one will need never roam the house to check on the way out of the door."

D. Rank- Ipswich

"I thought I had some great ideas but these guys had some even better ones! They really can make anything possible. Our ‘cinema room’ has fast become the most popular room in the house. It’s great to have all of our DVD and music collection in one place, and I never realised exactly how much difference ceiling speakers could make to the sound quality. Highly recommended."

I. Green - Norwich

"Initially I was just curious about the various concepts and not looking to buy but was well informed on all aspects with no hard sales which was refreshing. Eight months on, I have now began to convert my home into a ‘smart-home’ beginning with the huge task of eliminating the need for my CDs, DVDs and Blu-rays. These are all now safely stored on the system so I don't need endless boxes cluttering up my living space. I’m impressed with the intuitive menus on my tablet, and the ability to control my audio-visual equipment from it without having to hunt the endless remotes."
