With perpetual enthusiasm, Christie designed a showroom where his vision is brought to life. ELECSA operates competent person schemes on behalf of government to ensure that the contractors you employ are technically competent to carry the work you want.  They assess contractors across the building services sector including electrical (Part P), heating & hot water, solid fuel and oil. They also assess contractors under the Green Deal and MCS schemes for homeowners looking to install energy efficient measures or renewable energy technologies.

ELECSAs mission is to maintain and promote the best industry practice that underlines the technical integrity of the work that their approved contractors carry out on behalf of customers every day.  More than 75% of these contractors are small, independent contractors who form part of the backbone of the UK economy, so it is vital that they gain the confidence and trust of the UK’s 60 million householders who depend upon their quality workmanship.

ELECSA provides the safety assurance and peace of mind that householders need when having work carried out in their home.  They inspect, assess and certificate contractors to do electrical and other building services work in private properties.

Contractors registered on an ELECSA scheme are assessed annually to ensure that they are working to latest industry standards.
